$600 ($1000 over Christmas, New Years and Easter hires) payable to us within 3 days to confirm your booking. Payments can be made via Visa or Mastercard over the phone or a cheque in the mail.
Due to the nature of the houseboat industry, we only accept pre-payments of final balances and do not work on a bill back basis. The final payment is to be received as a total amount (no individual payments) no later than 8 weeks prior to departure.
Between $1500 - $2000 – payable by cash only on boarding or direct deposit 1 week prior to boarding. The amount payable is subject to the houseboat booked. This will be refunded by mail, less fuel costs (unleaded and diesel), ice and/or firewood costs, when the boat is returned on time in good order and condition. The expenses will be deducted with the balance if applicable being returned to you with 10 working days after the completion of your hire. If you exceed the bond paid you will receive a tax invoice with the amount outstanding to be paid. Damage or loss will be charged for. PLEASE NOTE: DOUBLE BOND is required for all male & all female groups.
Where cancellations occur we will re-advertise the booking, if we are successful in re-selling these dates the deposit will be refunded to you less an administration fee. If we cannot rebook the craft for that period, you may forfeit all monies paid.
COVID 19 Cancellations ~ If you are forced to cancel your booking due to government regulation and or border closures a deferral of dates will be offered to a comparable time without penalty, (no cancellation or administration charges), if the transferred dates are outside of the season originally booked the rate for the requested season would apply.
