Now it’s
time to finalise your last minute details with us and start preparing for one
of the best holidays you’ll ever have!
We MUST be notified of the
following NO LATER THAN
2 WEEKS
prior to departure:
Bedding
arrangements:
We
need to know how you would like the bedrooms on your boat made up to suits
your group’s sleeping requirements. Beds can zip apart to become singles so
we need to know what configuration you would like the beds made up in.
Example: 12 passengers on a 5 bedroom boat could be 4 doubles, 1 twin plus
sofa bed.
Ice
Boxes:
How
many ice boxes would you like filled up? All boats have at least two large
ice boxes for storage of your drinks. Cost is $30.00 each ($20 each for Unforgettable
7) with the cost deducted from your security bond at the end of your trip. A
load of ice consists of 6 x blocks of ice and 3 x 10kg bags of crushed ice,
with each ice box holding approximately 4 to 5 cartons of beer plus the ice
so they are quite large marine iceboxes! (N.B. The iceboxes on Unforgettable
7 are slightly smaller and a load of ice would be 4 x blocks of ice and 2 x
10kg bags of crushed ice).
Firewood:
May to November bookings only.
If
you would like to have a campfire on the riverbank we can arrange for firewood to be stocked onboard your boat. The cost is $33 per load and
the cost is simply deducted from your security bond at the end of your trip.
Please note that we are unable to provide full or part refunds on unused
firewood.
Electrical
Equipment:
Are
you bringing any electrical equipment onboard the boat? If so, we need to
ensure that anything you are bringing is compatible with our power systems.
Hair dryers, electric shavers, mobile phone and camera chargers are fine –
anything apart from that MUST
be approved! Failure to gain approval for any electrical
appliances could result in damage to the power system for which the hirer is
responsible.
Ski Boats, Jet skis and Dinghys:
You
are more than welcome to bring along your own boats and jet skis but please
advise the office beforehand if you intend to do so. There are tow arms on the
side of the houseboats so your equipment can be easily secured, all you need
to bring is a rope to tie the back of your boat onto the houseboat. You also
need to bring jerry cans for your fuel, and be mindful that your fuel CANNOT
be stored on the houseboat at any time.
Food &
Drinks:
Did
you want to use our easy ordering services for meat, fruit and vegetables and
drinks? When the final balance is paid, an information pack is sent out
which includes all the ordering forms for these services, or simply visit our
Planning Tips page to download the order forms. Once completed simply fax the
forms to our office no later than 2 weeks prior to departure and your orders
will be delivered onto your boat on the day of arrival.

Ski
boat, Dinghy & Canoe hire can also be arranged at an additional charge.
